Geoff’s an OBB pinball! You can find him bouncing between both of our OBB Westshore and Victoria, as well as around town at any number of cycling events. He’s used to moving about, after growing up on a New Brunswick farm until his love of mountain biking lured him to British Columbia’s coast over 10 years ago. He’s one of the original founders of the Westshore location and manages most of OBB’s event activities.
Hoping to share the excitement of modern mountain biking with the city, Geoff also founded The Dockside Mountain Bike Society, AND directed the inaugural Jumpship Festival, bringing the worlds best slopestyle riders to our inner harbour.
As if that wasn’t enough, he is also a former Canada Cup Downhill Champion, and the current National Team coach he’s also your source for knowledge on big bikes and how to ride them fast! His current collection of toboggans includes a Specialized Demo 8, a Norco Sight and a Ridley X Ride. Always happy to talk bikes over a beer, but only if he can’t get a Dr. Pepper first. His favourite topic these days is his sister, Catharine Pendrel, current XC Mountain Bike World Champion, Olympian, and former OBB team rider, who he is very proud to follow to London in August.
