This week’s Product Pick comes from Nanaimo. The Chromag Fubar OSX bar is a staple on DH bikes everywhere, including Shrew’s Demo 8 in the picture above; however, as more and more riders drink the “wide-and-low-bar” kool-aid, they’re finding a home on lots of all-mountain and freeride bikes as well. The wider your bars, the lower your centre of gravity and the more active your elbows can be. Tight trees be damned, their added control feels great in the corners.

Quick specs:

  • 31.8mm clap diameter
  • 30″ wide (760mm) with a 1″ (25mm) rise.
  • 310 grams.
  • 5° upsweep, 8° backsweep. This is just about perfect, we recommend running them so the tops sit perfectly horizontal.
  • Colours available: chrome, black chrome, white, orange, green, ano black, ano red, ano blue, ano lime, ano orange, ano purple.

The bars are in stock at all three Locations, but the best selection of colours at the moment is in Nanaimo.

Painted & anodized bars: $99.99.
Chrome & black chrome bars: $121.99.
