We’re a bike shop with locations in Victoria, Langford and Nanaimo, British Columbia. We carry a wide variety of bicycles, from family commuters and city bikes to high end mountain and road bikes, and have advanced, fast turnaround service shops. Nanaimo Build: Kona Operator

Nanaimo Build: Kona Operator

Kona launched the Operator platform last year and it’s been a super successful bike for them. It’s low slung, with a nicely tuned single pivot setup, and has oversized pivots and bearings so it’s not in the shop all the time for service. Kona bikes are available only at our...
The 2012 Norco Brand Book

The 2012 Norco Brand Book

Norco is really pushing it right now with some solid bike designs and a willingness to take risks. They’ve also put out a great little magazine-style “Brand Book” for 2012 which we’re really enjoying. Check it out here, and see if you can recognize any local spots/trails in there!

We built this Pake C’Mute up with an Alfine 8 internally geared hub and a fairly neutral citybike position. Not too aggressive but not exactly Mary Poppins either. Build highlights include a bunch of Velo Orange bits, NOS Ultegra cranks, Brooks saddle, MKS pedals, et cetera.

The ride is very smooth, tons of fun but efficient enough to get you there quickly. This one is a 50cm, suitable for someone <5'5" or so; we also have a 54cm frame in stock for taller folks.

Still working the price out and this one might be spoken for anyway, but a similar build would come it at $1249-$1499 or so.

Very nice build. I like the black decals on the gray. Are those available from Pake?

Ken, I believe all the slate coloured Pake frames we’ve gotten in came with black decals, though I do think last year one had white decals. Are you looking for just the decals? We can always call them and ask…

What do you think?
