OBB Victoria is Open on Monday May 21st
Yep, we’re open for the long weekend. 12 Noon – 5pm. Come say hi after (or before) your rides!
Kate wanted a fast citybike that was quicker handling than most, but still moderately upright. We chose a Soma Smoothie frame, but used a longer, lower trail fork than the stock one. The parts spec is a mix of NOS stuff and practical modern stuff. Highlights include Dura-Ace & XTR hubs, a Salsa Shaft post (thanks Jon Taylor!), WTB Deva saddle, Soma Oxford bars, R770 levers, etc… The result is a playful, enjoyable citybike that has the potential to be quickly converted to a touring bike.
