Monday Night Women’s Ride

Lead by Victoria Wheelers Ambassadors, the Monday Night Women’s Ride leaves from the Oak Bay Bikes parking lot (1990 Oak Bay Ave) at 6:00pm.

 

This mildly undulating 30km route is both an introduction to group riding and a moderately paced recovery ride. For women new to group riding, experienced ride leaders will coach you on group etiquette and safety. For the experienced rider, this a great social ride.

 

The overall average speed is 25-27km/hr. If you’re unable to maintain this speed for the entire 30kms, join us for as long as you are able.  Increase the distance you ride with us as your fitness improves each week.

 

IMPORTANT:
Your Cycling BC Insurance has to be current. Ensure your bike is ride-ready and bring a spare tube, pump and tire levers. Also, please bring adequate front & rear lights to ensure a safe ride home.
