OBB Victoria is Open on Monday May 21st
Yep, we’re open for the long weekend. 12 Noon – 5pm. Come say hi after (or before) your rides!
Anyone who knows Brandon knows he changes the setup on his bike on a bidaily basis. Here are some photos of his 183rd Street track bike in two separate setups:

In courier mode I run brakes, but keep it fast and simple with a big gear and a standard road bar. The cops are onto the messengers for not having brakes, but street legality isn’t the only reason I run them; I’m just faster that way.

In sprint mode I run a track bar, no brakes, no fuss, no muss. Also, stuckylife.

I’m surprised at your comment about cops going after people for not having rim or disc brakes. As much as I think riding around in traffic without them is stupid, all the law requires is that you have “a brake” (doesn’t say it has to be a hand-operated caliper, coaster brake, or anything else) by which you can lock up and skid at least one wheel. So having ABS on your bike would be illegal.
