The 2012 Norco Brand Book

The 2012 Norco Brand Book

Norco is really pushing it right now with some solid bike designs and a willingness to take risks. They’ve also put out a great little magazine-style “Brand Book” for 2012 which we’re really enjoying. Check it out here, and see if you can recognize any local spots/trails in there!

We’re so lucky to have many group rides here in Victoria, but sometimes it’s tough to keep them all straight or know which ones are right for you. This is a directory of all the weekly organized road bike, mountain bike, and cyclocross rides here in Victoria. We try to keep this thing up to date, but it is always a good idea to contact the ride organizers to make sure things are still running.

If we’ve missed any public organized group rides, feel free to let us know in the comments.

    Hi there!

This is a great list–thanks for making it.

The GVCC (Greater Victoria Cycling Coalition) does recreational rides most Sundays at 10 am, leaving from Selkirk Station, 80 Regatta Landing in Vic West. We alternate with the GVCC themed rides–like the Architectural Ride we just did last weekend (50 riders!). The rec rides are for fun and socializing, slower pace (18-23 km/hr), at a variety of distances. Most of us ride hybrids or commuter bikes. Tomorrow’s ride is to explore the waterways and wetlands of Saanich–a route almost completely off the road, and on to the great trail system in Saanich. Rides are free, and everyone is welcome.
