2012 School Bike League Competition

On June 5th, Joe Esnouf and Sam Sedun from our OBB/Lavan Team, along with Dean Tennant and Ben Byers, provided some great star power to the last School Bike League competition for the year. The team helped out as judges in the dirt jump competition, as well as helped to organize and coordinate the pump track and dual slalom races. After this event, the Monterery School Bike Team were the overall city champions, with Logan Rampton as the middle school winner, and Rachel finishing second overall in the girls category. Oak Bay Bicycles is thrilled to sponsor this team that grew from 6 riders last year to over 30 this year! Way to go guys! Also a major shout out goes to the excellent coaching styles of volunteers Lara and Mike McCulloch, can’t wait to see how next year goes!
